Saw a casting call for Ramayana and submitted. Found out it will be a children's show. Thought it would be fun and cool. They were looking for a Tabla player. I knew some friends who played Tabla and asked he joined thus making the show cooler with live music.
I got to know the cast a little, and saw their talents. Wow, amazingly talented kids and adults. So the Director is Dan Ward, the adaptation was done by Lesley Ward.
We had about 5 weeks of rehearsals and voila opening day May 8th, 2009
Two more performances on May 16th and 17th at 1pm.
